**GIVEAWAY!!!!!!**

Howdy peeps!

I've got a SUPER fun giveaway for my readers. I am so excited about this one because you are going to LOVE it!

Have you heard of Paper Coterie? If not, prepare to be amazed....

Paper Coterie offers photo books, calendars, cards, journals, and much more. Their newest release...WALL ART....and I am IN.LOVE.

What is Wall Art, you ask? Here is what Paper Coterie says about it:

Brighten the rooms in your home with vibrant, personalized wall art! First, choose your favorite creative design. Next, you can choose which product to order in that design. You can choose a decorative fabric poster made from a specially patented adhesive that can stick and re-stick to any surface. If your looking for a more dimensional look, choose a high quality stretched canvas print that comes out of the box ready to hang. Either way, you'll love what the personalized artwork brings to your walls.

Check out these adorable samples:

Aren't those precious?! How cute would one of those be in your child's room, playroom, or classroom? I love that you can personalize each one, making it a unique piece of artwork just for your child or you. Or, how about putting a teacher's name on the "Know Your ABCs" one and giving it as a nice gift for Christmas? My head is spinning with all kinds of ideas for these!

The fact that you can peel them off the wall and reuse them, without damaging your wall paint, is amazing. Or, you can order one that is already stretched onto a canvas and is perfect for hanging on the wall!

I decided to make a canvas poster for my youngest son's bedroom. I chose the one called "Star Label." It was SO easy to create...I just input his name and date, picked what color I wanted, and bam....DONE. :) Here's what it looked like:

PERFECT colors to match his room, and shipping was super fast. I couldn't wait to get it up on his wall, but I wanted a frame around it. However, there is no custom frame shop around here, so I took a piece of trim, got my dad to cut some 45° angles in it, and then we glued/stapled it together. My husband and I then painted it white to match our son's room. Once the paint was dry and the frame was all finished, we hung it on my son's wall and then added the poster to the middle of it. We then added a couple of floating shelves to the right of it, and voila! A unique, one-of-a-kind art wall for my son. :) I LOVE how it turned out:

What do you think? Can't wait to get your hands on one of those custom prints? Well, good news...

Paper Coterie wants me to GIVE AWAY ONE PIECE OF WALL ART CANVAS on this blog!!!! That's a retail value of $79 for FREE! All you have to do is leave me a comment, telling me which piece of Wall Art you would choose (I know it's hard to choose, but try to pick your favorite!), and you will be entered into a drawing to win the print of your choice. **please note that the winner will be responsible for paying shipping costs, which is a flat rate of $12.99**

It's Sneak Peek Time!

This month's kit assignments kinda sneaked up on me! Whoa, July just flew by. Wow.

Anyway, here is my "Sneak Peek" layout for the August kit from The Scrap Room:

And here is a close-up of some of the included embellishments. I used the little teardrop shaped crystals and added them around one of the plastic waves/splashes transparencies. It added a little bit more "splash", I thought. :)

This is the Little Yellow Bicycle "Splash" collection. It's just perfect for those summertime water shots! :)

Thanks for taking a peek!

Scrappy Sunday

Hello everyone!
I have been at my son's overnight baseball tournament all weekend, and I am WORN.OUT. Being in the sun/heat all day really wears me out....but we are home now. :)

I've done a little extra scrapping this past week, other than my usual monthly assignments for The Scrap Room. I used some leftovers from a previous kit and a sketch by the talented Susan Stringfellow and came up with this layout:

If you're like me, the LAST thing you want to be thinking about right now is school, but I needed to get this photo scrapped and put away in the album.

Here is my journaling:
Oh, my heart...my babies are both starting school today. They are excited, but I feel like crying. Hurry up, 3:15 pm! -Mommy

Do you feel like that when the 1st day of school rolls around, or are you thrilled that the house is quiet again as the kids start back? It's always sad for me. I hate letting go. I just love having my boys here at home with me. Yes, they get annoying and the summertime "I'm bored" chant is irritating, but....I'd much rather have them at home with me than at school all day long.

July is halfway over, and it will be back-to-school time before we know it. *sniff

A Couple of Cards

My last 2 projects for the July kit from The Scrap Room....

Question: Do you make cards? If so, do you send them out immediately or add them to your stash and use them as you need them?

A Note from Your Scrap Table

Dearest Talented Scrapbooker,

I miss you. Please come back to me. I see the way you longingly look at me when you pass by on your way to put up clothes or start supper. I know you still have feelings for me.

I have been right here waiting for you all this time...waiting for that moment when you come back to me and become mine once again. I miss the warmth of your hands all over me. I long for the day when we can be together once again, nothing standing in our way. Not even Pinterest.

With deepest love,

Your Scrap Table

Cool Treats

Ahh...summertime treats. Like ice cold snocones. A couple of years ago while we were on vacation, we took the boys to a little roadside snocone hut and let them pick out whatever snocone they wanted. Good stuff! :)

I made this page with Bella Blvd.'s "Sunshine & Happiness" collection, including in the July kit from The Scrap Room.

I love the fun, bright, summery colors!

Our Family

It's not too often we get a family photo with ALL of us in it. Some sweet lady on the beach saw me taking photos of the boys and kindly offered to take a couple of family photos for us so we could all be in the picture. So, when I opened my July kit from The Scrap Room and saw the beautiful, calming colors of the Crate Paper "Story Teller" collection, I knew that part of the kit would work well with these photos. Enjoy!

Inside the little envelope is a seashell my son brought home from the beach. :)

Layout - So Very Blessed

The July kit has been revealed at The Scrap Room, and it's a must-have for summertime! I made this page of my boys and me using Simple Stories "Fab-U-lous" collection:

This was based on our exclusive monthly sketch by the talented Mrs. Aphra Bolyer! I just love her sketches. :)

Thanks for taking a look!
